International Ordering Policy

Required to Begin Order Processing

Before we can move forward, please provide the following:

A completed W-8BEN-E form

• We will provide both a blank form and a sample for your reference
• Please ensure all required sections are completed, and the form is signed and dated

Orders or Quotes cannot be processed until this form has been reviewed and approved by our Finance team.

Export Documentation Responsibility

Please note:

• All export documentation must be completed by you or your freight forwarder
• Capitol Scientific will only provide standard domestic shipping documents
• We do not assist with export paperwork or freight forwarding documentation

Tax & Export Verification Process

• Sales tax will initially appear on your order
• You may deduct (short pay) the tax amount at the time of payment
• Tax exemption will be finalized after shipment, once export documentation is received

After your order ships, you will need to provide one of the following:

• Bill of Lading
• Customs documentation
• Export clearance documents
• AND
• A completed Export Documentation Letter (state-specific)

Payment Method

• International orders are typically paid via wire transfer
• We will provide wire instructions (including SWIFT/BIC)
• Any wire transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer

Important Policies

• Orders are considered final once delivered to your freight forwarder
• Capitol Scientific is not responsible for shipments after they leave the United States

If you would like to proceed with your request, the next step is to submit a completed Form W-8BEN-E. With this, you are submitting your approval to proceed with your request and confirming your adherence to our policies.
