EMD Millipore Reflectoquant® Test Strip & Reflectometer Analytical System
Whether you work in agriculture, food or water analysis, hygiene monitoring or industrial analysis, the Reflectoquant® analytical test strip and reflectometer system from Merck is a mobile laboratory so that you can perform critical analyses and obtain quantitative results directly on site. The Reflectoquant® system consists of test strips, test kits and the RQflex 10 Meter (reflectometer) and combines ease of use with the accuracy of instrumental analysis.
A rapid, sensitive system for quantitating a wide variety of organic and inorganic analytes using Reflectoquant® test strips in combination with the Reflectoquant® RQflex® 10 Meter (reflectometer). The reflectometer and analytical test strip together, measure substance concentration based on light reflected from a reaction zone. Two measurements are made simultaneously and averaged for increased accuracy. Light source is four LEDs with double optics. Meters load up to five test methods into memory at once and can store 50 test results and download them to a PC using an optional RS-232 interface. Convenient size fits in one hand. To run a test, simply load the meter with a preprogrammed bar code. Then dip appropriate test strip into the sample and insert it into the meter. LCD readout displays results directly in concentration units.
