IW Tremont Non-Gridded Mixed Cellulose Ester Membrane Filters: Biologically inert mixtures of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate result in membrane filters with a smoother and more uniform surface than pure nitrocellulose. These MCE membrane filters are easy to handle with less cracking and fracturing than traditional CN membranes. Manufactured with a pure surface with no additional smoothing treatment or surfactants.
