Cytiva's Whatman™ PTFE membrane filter is an excellent choice for filtration of aggressive solvents liquids and gases that can attack other membranes. They are resistant to most acids alkalis and solvents. PTFE membrane filters are particularly suitable for preparing samples for HPLC analysis. The hydrophobic nature of the PTFE membrane filter also has applications for air and gas sterilization. Whatman™ PTFE membrane filters are laminated onto a randomly arranged polypropylene support material for improved strength and handling. They can be used at temperatures up to 150°C. Filter Grades include: Whatman TE35, TE36, TE37, TE38, and WTP.
