Cytiva's Whatman™ RC Plain Regenerated Cellulose Membrane Filters

Cytiva's Whatman™ Grade RC55 regenerated cellulose membrane filters are made of pure cellulose without any wetting agents. These regenerated cellulose membrane filters provide spontaneous wetting and very good wet strength. They also provide excellent chemical resistantance and are suitable for aqueous and organic media. Whatman regenerated cellulose membrane filters are hydrophilic and mechanically stable. They can be used up to 180°C and is sterilizable by all methods. Certain RC55 regenerated cellulose membrane filters within this Cytiva Whatman product family are suitable for use as a sterile filter in performing testing using ASTM Method D 3862-80.
