PYREX® Round Bottom Boiling Flask with Short Ring Neck, Corning 4260

The PYREX® round bottom boiling flask has a short ring neck and takes a standard rubber stopper of matching size. The ring neck boiling flask is precisely tooled for uniform stopper fit. The reinforced rim increases mechanical strength. This flask is used in applications requiring rigid stoppering and as a wash bottle in routine lab washing. Wall thickness is carefully controlled to provide the proper balance between thermal expansion and mechanical strength for greater shock resistance. Excellent chemical durability results in contamination-free results and long life under the toughest lab conditions. Normal working temperature for this PYREX® boiling flask is 230°C. Non-Sterile.
