Axygen®'s AxyPrep™ Blood Genomic DNA Midiprep kit is designed to produce up to 100mg and 500mg of high molecular weight genomic DNA respectively from anticoagulated human or animal blood. Purification is based upon a unique phase-partitioning technology in combination with the selective binding of the genomic DNA to a special AxyPrep column. The purified genomic DNA is greater than or equal to 30Kb in size, and is particularly well suited for PCR, Southern blotting and other applications requiring highly purified, high molecular weight genomic DNA. Features rapid protocols and unique phase-partition step. No alcohol precipitation. Three kit sizes are available.
