Granulation preserves homogeneity by capturing the media’s original component distribution in each granule and preventing settling out. The risks associated with inhalation toxicities and fine powders are significantly reduced with this form of dehydrated and granular culture media. These dehydrated culture media bases are faster to prepare than powdered media and are much easier to weigh.
