Cytiva's Whatman™ UNIFILTER® 96-Well x 2mL Protein Precipitation Filtering Microplates

Cytiva's Whatman™ UNIFILTER® FF Protein Precipitation (Fast Flow) filtering microplate is optimized for removing acetonitrile-precipitated proteins from plasma or serum samples. This 2mL x 96-Well, rigid glass-filled polypropylene microplate is both robust and chemically resistant. The microplate contains specially formulated dual membranes with two distinct layers. The top layer acts as a prefilter to remove coarse particulates. The bottom layer is oleophobic for retaining the well contents without dripping. This provides a final filter for removing fine particulate matter when a vacuum is applied. Purified & process samples are ready in less than ten minutes with precipitation and filtration occurring in the same well. These filtering microplates eliminated the need for laborious centrifugation or pipetting with minimal liquid handling. Microplates deliver 98% protein removal and are ideal for sample volumes of up to 150µL for plasma and 200µL for serum. ANSI/SBS compliant and automation/robotics-friendly.
