This AxyPrep™ filtration plate is designed to function as a routine filtration and sample preparation plate in molecular biology applications. The 1.5mL well volume will accommodate most biological lysates and provides sufficient volume for various wash solutions. Long drip directors allow direct plate-to-plate transfer of sample when used in a vacuum format. This plate can be modified by adding porous frits or retainer rings and membranes. The 1.5mL plate is ideal for integration into sample preparation processes performed on automated systems. Plates are sold unfritted and fritted by the case (50 plates). Polyethylene frits and retainer rings are available as accessory items. SBS format with half-skirt. Molded in medical-grade polypropylene.
This AxySep™ 96-deepwell solid phase extraction (SPE) plate offers a unique, two-plate system that allows the chromatographer to select between two SPE plates, based upon the most desirable sorbent bed configuration for a specific sorbent type and amount. Select the AxySep™ plate which generates the best resin bed geometry for a particular application. Optimized drip directors modulate flow rate and prevent cross-contamination. The SBS-format compatible with most vacuum manifold.
Multiple filter media and pore sizes available to meet a variety of applications. Corning® FiltrEX™ Filtering Microplates include hydrophilic PVDF membrane filter for chromatography support. Filtering microplate can be used for Plasmid DNA purification and high-throughput screening such as receptor-ligand binding and cell-based assays SBS standard dimensions.
The Millipore® MultiScreen® filtering microplate with Ultracel® 10 membrane filtration provides a new method for high throughput sample prep. The ultrafiltration-based filter plate is designed for automation-compatible sample purification, concentration and desalting of biological solutions, as well as protein removal from samples prior to instrument analysis. MultiScreen microplates are designed for low protein binding and high protein retention. The assay-grade plates meet stringent manufacturing release specifications and are lot tested for protein retention for >95% retention of cytochrome c (12,500 Daltons). They also offer high well-to-well uniformity on performance.
