For gravimetric analysis, Matched-Weight Fluid Contamination Monitors are recommended to eliminate filter pre-weighing before sampling.
The Millipore Fluids Contamination Analysis Kit conforms to standard contamination test procedures such as ARP-598 (hydraulic fluids), ASTM-D2276 (aviation turbine fuels), and federal standard 791a (lubricants, liquid fuels, and related products). Includes all consumable lab supplies & filtration products for approximately 600 tests. Matched weight membrane filters for gravimetric analysis are available.

Matched weight membrane filters are designed for gravimetric analysis and eliminate the need for test filter pre-weighing in gravimetric analyisis. Filters are matched in weight to within 0.1mg.
