Ansell® ActivArmr® 97-609 & 97-610 Cooling Vests

Ansell's ActivArmr™ 97-609 Cooling Vest is a comfort garment which prevents elevated body temperatures in people who work in hot environments or with extreme physical exertion. It provides a cooling effect just when the body needs it! The ActivArmr™ Cooling Vest can be worn underneath chemical protective clothing, turnout gear, coveralls, diving suits or daily workwear. Cooling vests are ideal for Fire & Rescue personnel, mining, police, oil rigs & plaforms, steel foundries, refineries, nuclear plants, paper mills, military and more.

ActivArmr™ Cooling Vest function by means of PCM (phase change material) elements which absorb excess heat from the body. The heat absorption continues until the elements soften. Cooling vests are designed to have a close fit. The PCM elements are integrated into the lining providing great comfort and maintaining the wearer's flexibility when moving.

Each vest requires twenty (20) PCM Packs (Phase Change Element) which are non-toxic and non-flammable.
