What is "My Wishlists"?
"My Wishlists" allows you to easily access (and then order) products you regularly order rather than having to conduct a new search every time you log in. Think of it as a digital shopping list.
How do I get discounted and preferred pricing?
To qualify for discounted and preferred pricing, you will need to create an account and apply for our Customer Loyalty Program.
How do I qualify for the Customer Loyalty Program?
After creating your login and account (click here if you haven’t), the easiest way to apply for our Customer Loyalty Program is to submit your request through our Customer Loyalty Programs application form. An account manager will contact you to set up your custom / discounted pricing and to allow access to all the program benefits.
How do I apply for the Vendor Managed Inventory Program?
Account members who are geographically eligible for the Vendor Managed Inventory Program can apply by contacting customersvc@capitolscientific.com A dedicated account manager will work directly with you to identify your company's specific needs and how we may be able to help.
Are web prices different than ordering via phone?
No, regardless of how you place an order, all product prices quoted will be the same. Additionally, Capitol Scientific does not accept phone orders.
How do I use a promotional code?
Enter your code in the box labeled "Have a Promo Code?" found in the Order Summary in the cart or checkout process. Then click the "Apply" buttton, and you'll see the discount amount applied immediately.

What do I need to place an order online?
- A Capitol Scientific account (Click here if you don't have one)
- A copy of your companys W-9 (Rev. March 2024)
- If applicable, your company's Sales Tax Exemption Certificate(s)
Do you ship internationally?
Generally, we do not ship outside of the United States. We may make exceptions for shipments to Canada or Mexico on a case-by-case basis. If you are interested in shipping internationally, we can ship to a certified international freight forwarder of your choosing within the United States. Capitol Scientific has no affiliation with any freight forwarder.
Is it required that I have a login to place an order?
Yes, it is required to have a login to place an order with us. (Click here if you don't have one)
How do I view and track my order?
To view and track orders, you will need to log in to your account and then select Customer Center. From there, click on "Purchases", then "Purchase History", and then choose the order you're looking for.
How can I reorder items previously purchased?
To Reorder, you will need to log in to your account and then select Customer Center. From there, click on "Purchases", then "Reorder Items", and scroll to the item needed
How can I change my order?

What is your return policy?
As a standard policy, Capitol Scientific does not accept returns unless the product was sent in error or arrived defective or damaged, in which case, you may request a return within 15 days of the ship date. You will need photographs to support your claim.
- Made-to-order materials will not be approved for return unless Capitol Scientific or one of its vendors shipped a product other than what was ordered.
- Hazardous materials authorized for return must be packed, labeled, and shipped in accordance with DOT regulations governing transportation of hazardous material and any other applicable requirements.
In the event that you, the customer, ordered the product in error, your return request may be exempt from the policy on a case-by-case basis. Your order will be subject to a 25% restocking charge plus any applicable charges for necessary inspection, reworking, or refurbishing. To submit your return request, please email customersvc@capitolscientific.com, including your order number and the reason for return. Where do I find a credit application?
You can find our Credit Application here or email customersvc@capitolscientific.com. We offer Net 30 terms to qualified customers.
What information can be found in the Customer Center?
The Customer Center is a comprehensive area of our website where you can:
- Review your account settings and preferences
- Manage billing, statements and payments
- View orders, quotes and place re-orders
- Obtain tracking numbers for your orders
- Download and / or pay Invoices
How do I change my account information & preferences?
Log in and click on “Customer Center” to access your account information and preferences. From there, click “Settings” then “Profile Information” or "Email Preferences".
How do I add/edit my shipping preferences?
Log in and click on “Customer Center” to access your account information and preferences. From there, click "Settings" then "Address Book" to manage both your shipping and billing addresses.
How do I edit my username/password?
Log in and click on “Customer Center” to see your account information and preferences. From there, click “Settings” then "Update Your Password".
