Corning® 3081 Microplate Sealing Mat Applicator for Corning® 96-Well Microplates and Deepwell Storage Blocks

This storage mat applicator evenly applies storage mats to Corning® 96-well polypropylene plates and blocks, and 96-well polystyrene plates. Place the part to be sealed on the tray or riser block. Postion the storage mat on the part by gently pressing several plugs into wells to hold the mat in place. With the lever arm in an upright position, carefully slide the tray back to the stop. Pull the lever arm forward and down to the stop to seal the tray. Sealing pressure must be adjusted by using the setting gauge provided. When sealing a number of identical blocks, it is not necessary to change the pressure setting. Two aluminum riser blocks are provided so that various size plates can be sealed. Corning® #: 3081.
