Particularly useful in enzyme studies where heat build-up must be avoided. The internal diameter at the bottom of the unground glass tube (mortar) is 0.435 inch (+/- 0.001 inch). Use the large clearance 'A' pestle for initial reduction of soft tissue. The diameter of the ground and polished end is 0.4305 inch (+/- 0.0005 inch) for a nominal clearance of 0.0045 inch with the tube. Complete the homogenization with the small clearance 'B' pestle. The diameter of the ground and polished end is 0.4325 inch (+/- 0.0005 inch) for a nominal clearance of 0.0025 inch with the tube. Non-Sterile. Material: Borosilicate Glass Code 7740. Capacity: 7mL.
