A rapid, sensitive system for quantitating a wide variety of organic and inorganic analytes using Reflectoquant® test strips in combination with the Reflectoquant® RQflex® plus 10 Meter (reflectometer). The reflectometer and analytical test strip together, measure substance concentration based on light reflected from a reaction zone. Two measurements are made simultaneously and averaged for increased accuracy. Light source is four LEDs with double optics. Meters load up to five test methods into memory at once and can store 50 test results and download them to a PC using an optional RS-232 interface. Convenient size fits in one hand. To run a test, simply load the meter with a preprogrammed bar code. Then dip appropriate test strip into the sample and insert it into the meter. LCD readout displays results directly in concentration units.
