Pressurizes membrane filter without introducing air in to the chamber using a unique movable piston design

Millipore's ZHE (Zero Head Space Extractor) system has been designated by the USEPA as a suitable apparatus for Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP). The system cannot pressurize unless completely assembled; this eliminates accidentally "shooting the piston" out of the unit and assures safe operation. Choose from either manual or automatic venting modes. 316 stainless steel body; molded polypropylene handwheels; fluoroelastomer o-rings. Accepts 90mm membrane filters. Filtration Area: 64cm2.
