RapidStill I. Provides distillations for nitrogen determination. Designed for labs that are determining micro quantities of protein/nitrogen or performing one or two macro determinations per day by diluting and aliquoting the sample. Accepts digested samples up to 4ml (max.) and gives reproducible results in ranges as low as 1mg/L Kjeldahl nitrogen. A one-piece still is mounted on high-density polyethylene benchtop console that contains all operating controls. Each distillation takes only five minutes. Features: built-in glass aspirator that purges spent samples after determination; one-piece borosilicate glass still with chemically inert PTFE stopcocks; 115-volt immersion heater inside the water reservoir; variable heat control switch for controlling steam; and 8-foot, 3-wire cord with plug.
