This high performance transilluminator provides high intensity and uniform UV illumination. The unique design of these transilluminators provices increased performance and efficiency. Product enhancements include a new electronic ballast and cutting-edge construction. Additional featured inclued zero light flicker, a wider UV intensity range with variable selection, fast lamp start up and a universal power supply. These transilluminators feature a stainless steel cover frame which provides an easy-to-clean surface and reduces cross contamination of samples. Uniform, brilliant back-lit fluorescence illumination is enhanced with UVP's unique background uniformity screen and UVG long-life filter. A uniformity screen is available on units with midrange or longwave UV. The transilluminator's powerful cooling fan maintains a low filter surface temperature to prevent sample damage and maintains a constant UV intensity. A removable and adjustable protective UV blocking cover is also included with each transilluminator. These are 2UV™ models which has the same size and design as other high performance models but are equipped with midrange and longwave UV in each unit.
