Nalgene® Heavy Duty Rectangular Tanks, Polypropylene, Autoclavable

Nalgene® rectangular plastic tanks are constructed of heavy duty polypropylene. These plastic lab tanks are economical, versatile and provide excellent stress crack resistance. Since these plastic tanks tolerate many organic chemicals they are suitable for disinfecting biological wastes. Tankes are fully autoclavable for reuse with a maximum service temperature of 220°F (104°C). Molded as one piece with no seams and having good chemical resistance this tank is ideal as a dip tank or for soaking labware. The stepped flange at top provides reinforcement and grip for lifting. Graduated in both gallons and liters the tank is rigid with a hard surface and good temperature resistance. It meets USP Class VI requirements and complies with 21CFR177.1520. It is supplied with a floating cover. CAUTION! Plastic tanks are generally subject to more severe conditions than plastic labware; exposure is constant stresses are greater and different classes and concentrations of chemicals are involved. Please pay special attention to chemical compatibility. Tanks used at elevated temperatures or with high specific-gravity liquids should have external support to prevent deformation. Autoclavable. Graduated. Nalgene 14200 Series.
