This 4-foot long, 3/16in diameter HWC Series high temperature heat cord is designed for use on small tubes, vessels, or any application where space is limited. It can be wrapped around objects as small as 1/8in (3mm) diameter. It has a double braided, high temperature Samox® fiberglass outer sheath and is suitable for electrically conductive surfaces. HWC Series high temperature heat cord provides exceptional flexibility and durability with rapid thermal response, making it excellent for laboratory, production, or maintenance applications. It can tolerate a maximum exposure temperature of 1400°F (760°C). The power density is 60watts/ft (196watts/m). Includes high temperature tie downs for easy installation and 2ft (0.6m) long power leads with 120V rated separable standard 2-prong power plug (NEMA 1-15).
