The Millex® HPF LCR syringe filter includes both a graduated glass fiber prefilter (10.0 to 0.7µm) to remove larger particles and a 0.2µm membrane filter for fine filtration. This combination of media provides two to four times greater throughput than standard syringe filters without prefiltration media, especially when filtering particle-laden solutions. Manufactured with a low-extractables polyethylene housing. Includes a Millipore LCR hydrophilic PTFE membrane which is compatible with all commonly used HPLC solvents. Syringe filters can also be used to filter aqueous fluids without prior wetting. Non-sterile.
