Wheaton® W224198 Tamper-Evident Aluminum Seals for 28.5mm Uni-Dose Bottles and Vials (Case of 2500)
In order to harmonize the aluminum thickness with the standard seal offering, the manufacturer is increasing the aluminum thickness from 0.006” to 0.008” for the seals listed in the table below. Currently, both larger and smaller seals are made with 0.008” thick aluminum, and we are now addressing the few remaining part numbers that need to change to the standard thickness.

Wheaton® 28.5mm tamper-evident aluminum seals are designed for use with Wheaton® Uni-Dose® bottles and vials. These three-piece lined aluminum caps have unique metal inserts and are manufactured with a combination of materials including aluminum, pulp, PVDC plastic and polyethylene. Contents cannot be accessed without removing cap or leaving evidence of puncture or insert. A metal tab with a rolled safety edge 'perks up' to provide visual proof of a tight seal.
