These Kontes® Flex-column® standard economy chromatography columns are fitted with a translucent polypropylene reservoir top and bed supports that are permanently mounted in the polypropylene column outlet. Short columns are typically used for ion exchange chromatography, sample desalting and semi disposable applications, while the long columns are ideally suited for gel filtration and adsorption chromatography. CAUTION: Pressurized glassware should always be used with adequate safety shielding. Class A barrels.
