Sterilin® 96-Well Assay Microplates
Sterilin® assay microplates feature alpha-numeric identification alongside each of the 96 wells which makes microscopic sample location simple. Uniform wall thickness ensures good optical observation and a hanging well design allows an even temperature to be achieved around each well. Cross contamination is minimized by each well having a rim, and when lids are used, orientation corners and condensation rings further guarantee security. A rim around the periphery of the plate also assists when the plate requires sealing with film. Deep lids reduce the common problem of uneven evaporation from the wells. The black plate is designed for use in fluorescence studies with minimal well to well cross talk. The white plate is designed for use in luminescence assays where the white pigment in addition to minimizing cross talk increases reflectivity for greater sensitivity.
