The Corning® PYREXPLUS® coated culture tube has a protective PVC coating for longer product life and safety. This protective coating on the surface of the culture tube helps prevent glass from shattering and reduces spills. These screwcap culture tubes are autoclavable at 121°C and resistant to thermal shock. Do not place over direct heat or flame or dry heat above 110°C. Supplied with a deep-form GPI threaded phenolic cap fabricated from a special formula resistant to the effects of temperature and steam in autoclaving that has a glued-in, white rubber liner. Non-Sterile. Reusable. Material: Borosilicate Glass Code 7740.
