BriskHeat® SR composite heat curing silicone heater blankets are round in shape and designed heating element that is laminated between two layers of 66mil thick non-reinforced silicone rubber with a density of 66oz/square yard. Compatible with ACR-II Hot Bonder: NEMA L14-30, 125/250VAC, 30A. The multi-stranded heating element is uniformly placed to maximize heat distribution. Composite curing heating blankets are chemical and radiation resistant with a smooth surface against repair. Strain relief is built through the entire edge of the blanket for increased durability. Heating blankets are extremely flexible with a bend radius of 1/4in (6mm), making them ideal for leading or trailing edges. Maximum exposure temperature of 450°F (232°C). Power density is 5watts/square inch. Furnished with a 6-foot power cord and a standard ACR® 3 Hot Bonder compatible power plug (NEMA L14-30).
Temperature controller is required. ACR® 3 Hot Bonder kits are recommended. Ideal for composite repair and fabrication. May be used on horizontal surfaces, vertical surfaces, sharp radii, and on complex contoured surfaces without removing the damaged section. Requires temperature controller (sold separately).
